W riting a cheeky poem for Sally Odgers' 'Valentine' anthology. Yes - a cat is involved.
R eading 'Crimson Lake' by one of my favourite Aussie crime writers, Candice Fox. Not for the faint-hearted, her books really pack a punch.
I' m enjoying the 'minimalist game' which I started on February 1st. Each day I part with something I don't really want or need. The number of items each day must match the date, so yesterday and today (17th and 18th) I visited the pantry. All items past their use-by date removed. I decided that salt and pepper shakers count as two items. Not sure whether I can apply the same rule to earrings.
T omorrow is the fortnightly meeting of the writers' group I belong to. Better than therapy! Don't think I'd still be writing if it wasn't for their support and the support of my other writer friends.
E xcited that my picture book, 'Ziggy's Zoo' published by Little Pink Dog Books will soon be off to the printers. Can't wait to get that baby in my hands.
R eally loved spending extra time with my three year old grandson, Lewis, over the last couple of weeks while he was recovering from having his tonsils and adenoids out. This is the boy who still can't decide whether he wants to be an astronaut or Paul Simon when he grows up.
